Auditions
Nevada Ballet Theatre auditions interested dancers for company and trainee positions by appointment only.
To be considered please send the following information:
REQUIRED
• Cover Letter
• Current Resume
Please include: your height, weight, ALL Professional Company/Performance Experience, training, other performance experience, special awards and/or scholarships. Also include your current and or permanent address/phone/email
• 3 References from your most current employer or professionals
in the Dance Field
• 1 Headshot
• 2 (Full body) Dance Photos
1 Performance
1 in Leotard and Tights in Ballet Studio
• No Letters of Recommendation Please
OPTIONAL
• A DVD enclosed with a Self-Addressed Stamped Return Envelope or a youtube link to dance footage.
Email submissions will also be accepted with all of the required information to khughes@nevadaballet.org
If you are invited to audition:
You will be expected to come for a minimum period of 2 days.
During your time here you will take part in NBT's daily class and rehearsals
In addition have prepared:
1 Classical Solo (not to exceed 3 minutes)
1 Contemporary Solo (not to exceed 3 minutes)
Women must bring pointe shoes

Dancers who are accepted and offered a contract for the 2012-2013 Season you must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship OR valid documentation of your ability to legally work within the United States through the month of June 2013.
